Here is a collection of photos from a trip in February 2016, wild camping around Haweswater in the English Lake District. The weather had proved to be an excessive mixture of wind and rain, culminating in a night full of strong gusts that tested the tent heavily. The sky was clear for large parts of the night though, and a full moon lit Haweswater well. Views towards High Street and Harter Fell were also impressive, with snow on the tops and moonlight picking out lots of crags and other detail.
- Little known fact – Haweswater is the only location within England, that is home to the Golden Eagle.
