A collection of pictures from a recent wild camping trip on the Summit of Ullscarf, in the Central Lakes. A beautiful winter walk, with fantastic woodland around Harrop Tarn and plenty of views across Thirlmere to the Helvellyn range. As the weather cleared up, fells could be seen all around in every direction. The snow was deep, perhaps three feet deep in drifts against rocks and fences. Generally, the weather was kind if not a little cold. Pitching after dark, and strong winds in the morning did not give the most favourable conditions for many pictures at camp.
